Barangay San Miguel

Situated in Magalang, Pampanga, Barangay San Miguel is one of 27 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Miguel had a population of 2,790. This made it the 18th largest of 27 barangays in Magalang by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Miguel accounted for approximately 2.25% of the total population of Magalang, which stood at 124,188 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Miguel changed from 2,714 to 2,790, a shift of +2.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Magalang. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Miguel as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
