Situated in Magalang, Pampanga, Barangay Santo Niño is one of 27 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santo Niño had a population of 3,494. This made it the 14th largest of 27 barangays in Magalang by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Niño accounted for approximately 2.81% of the total population of Magalang, which stood at 124,188 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,185 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,494 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Santo Niño is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
