Barangay Napaan

Situated in Malay, Aklan, Barangay Napaan is one of 17 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

This made it the 13th largest of 17 barangays in Malay by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Napaan changed from 751 to 939, a shift of +25.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Malay. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Napaan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
