Barangay Babasit

Barangay Babasit forms part of Manaoag, a municipality in Pangasinan, and is classified as a large barangay.

This made it the 2nd largest of 26 barangays in Manaoag by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. The barangay recorded 5,618 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,876 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +4.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Babasit is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Manaoag is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Babasit, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
