Barangay Inamotan

Barangay Inamotan is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Manaoag, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Inamotan had a population of 2,701. This made it the 12th largest of 26 barangays in Manaoag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Inamotan accounted for approximately 3.55% of the total population of Manaoag, which stood at 76,045 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Inamotan changed from 2,498 to 2,701, a shift of +8.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Manaoag. Barangay Inamotan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Manaoag is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Inamotan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
