Barangay Baguinay

Situated in Manaoag, Pangasinan, Barangay Baguinay is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Baguinay had a population of 2,231. This made it the 15th largest of 26 barangays in Manaoag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Baguinay accounted for approximately 2.93% of the total population of Manaoag, which stood at 76,045 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,369 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,231 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -5.8%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Baguinay is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
