Barangay Lipit Sur

Barangay Lipit Sur is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Manaoag, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lipit Sur had a population of 3,499. This made it the 8th largest of 26 barangays in Manaoag by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lipit Sur accounted for approximately 4.60% of the total population of Manaoag, which stood at 76,045 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lipit Sur changed from 2,993 to 3,499, a shift of +16.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Manaoag.
