Barangay Santa Lucia

Barangay Santa Lucia is a small barangay in the municipality of Maria Aurora, located in the province of Aurora, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santa Lucia had a population of 566. This made it the 36th largest of 40 barangays in Maria Aurora by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Lucia accounted for approximately 1.26% of the total population of Maria Aurora, which stood at 44,958 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santa Lucia moving from 578 residents to 566 residents, an intercensal change of -2.1%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Santa Lucia is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
