Barangay San Isidro (Pob.)

Barangay San Isidro (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Matalom, located in the province of Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Isidro (Pob.) had a population of 749. This made it the 22nd largest of 30 barangays in Matalom by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.30% of the total population of Matalom, which stood at 32,586 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 839 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 749 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -10.7%, consistent with a contracting settlement.
