Barangay A. Bonifacio

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay A. Bonifacio is one of the administrative divisions of Mayorga in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay A. Bonifacio had a population of 2,059. This made it the 2nd largest of 16 barangays in Mayorga by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay A. Bonifacio accounted for approximately 11.39% of the total population of Mayorga, which stood at 18,071 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay A. Bonifacio moving from 1,131 residents to 2,059 residents, an intercensal change of +82.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
