Barangay San Nicolas (Pob.)

Barangay San Nicolas (Pob.) is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Minalin, located in the province of Pampanga, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Nicolas (Pob.) had a population of 2,972. This made it the 7th largest of 15 barangays in Minalin by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Nicolas (Pob.) accounted for approximately 6.14% of the total population of Minalin, which stood at 48,380 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Nicolas (Pob.) changed from 3,245 to 2,972, a shift of -8.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Minalin. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Nicolas (Pob.) as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
