Barangay Sta. Catalina

Situated in Minalin, Pampanga, Barangay Sta. Catalina is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sta. Catalina had a population of 2,695. This made it the 8th largest of 15 barangays in Minalin by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sta. Catalina accounted for approximately 5.57% of the total population of Minalin, which stood at 48,380 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Sta. Catalina changed from 2,319 to 2,695, a shift of +16.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Minalin. Barangay Sta. Catalina is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
