Barangay San Roque

Barangay San Roque is a small barangay in the municipality of Moncada, located in the province of Tarlac, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Roque had a population of 1,254. This made it the 27th largest of 37 barangays in Moncada by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Roque accounted for approximately 2.00% of the total population of Moncada, which stood at 62,819 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Roque moving from 1,176 residents to 1,254 residents, an intercensal change of +6.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay San Roque is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
