Barangay Poblacion

Situated in Nabas, Aklan, Barangay Poblacion is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion had a population of 2,121. This made it the 8th largest of 20 barangays in Nabas by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion accounted for approximately 5.22% of the total population of Nabas, which stood at 40,632 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Poblacion moving from 2,115 residents to 2,121 residents, an intercensal change of +0.3%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
