Barangay Dialaoyao

Situated in Palanan, Isabela, Barangay Dialaoyao is one of 17 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dialaoyao had a population of 1,011. This made it the 6th largest of 17 barangays in Palanan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dialaoyao accounted for approximately 5.72% of the total population of Palanan, which stood at 17,684 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,080 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,011 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -6.4%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Dialaoyao is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
