Barangay Dicabisagan East (Pob.)

Barangay Dicabisagan East (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Palanan, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dicabisagan East (Pob.) had a population of 1,041. This made it the 5th largest of 17 barangays in Palanan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dicabisagan East (Pob.) accounted for approximately 5.89% of the total population of Palanan, which stood at 17,684 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,105 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,041 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -5.8%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dicabisagan East (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
