Barangay Maligaya

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Maligaya is one of the administrative divisions of Palanan in Isabela, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Maligaya had a population of 1,732. This made it the 2nd largest of 17 barangays in Palanan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maligaya accounted for approximately 9.79% of the total population of Palanan, which stood at 17,684 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Maligaya moving from 1,748 residents to 1,732 residents, an intercensal change of -0.9%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community.
