Barangay Badiangon

Situated in Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat, Barangay Badiangon is one of 40 barangays that make up the municipality within SOCCSKSARGEN.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Badiangon had a population of 2,942. This made it the 8th largest of 40 barangays in Palimbang by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Badiangon accounted for approximately 3.17% of the total population of Palimbang, which stood at 92,828 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Badiangon changed from 2,945 to 2,942, a shift of -0.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Palimbang. Barangay Badiangon is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
