Barangay Duljugan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Duljugan is one of the administrative divisions of Palompon in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Duljugan had a population of 946. This made it the 27th largest of 50 barangays in Palompon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Duljugan accounted for approximately 1.62% of the total population of Palompon, which stood at 58,313 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Duljugan moving from 864 residents to 946 residents, an intercensal change of +9.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Duljugan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Palompon is a municipality comprising 50 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Duljugan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
