Barangay Mazawalo Pob. is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Palompon, located in the province of Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mazawalo Pob. had a population of 4,510. This made it the 1st largest of 50 barangays in Palompon by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mazawalo Pob. accounted for approximately 7.73% of the total population of Palompon, which stood at 58,313 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,480 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,510 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +0.7%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Mazawalo Pob. is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
