Barangay San Isidro

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Isidro is one of the administrative divisions of Palompon in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 3,743. This made it the 2nd largest of 50 barangays in Palompon by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Isidro changed from 3,350 to 3,743, a shift of +11.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Palompon. Barangay San Isidro is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Palompon is a municipality comprising 50 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
