Barangay Tinabilan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Tinabilan is one of the administrative divisions of Palompon in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tinabilan had a population of 872. This made it the 30th largest of 50 barangays in Palompon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tinabilan accounted for approximately 1.50% of the total population of Palompon, which stood at 58,313 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tinabilan moving from 906 residents to 872 residents, an intercensal change of -3.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Tinabilan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
