Barangay Poblacion District 8

Barangay Poblacion District 8 is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Pambujan, located in the province of Northern Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Poblacion District 8 had a population of 4,909. This made it the 1st largest of 26 barangays in Pambujan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion District 8 accounted for approximately 13.82% of the total population of Pambujan, which stood at 35,532 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Poblacion District 8 changed from 3,585 to 4,909, a shift of +36.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Pambujan. Barangay Poblacion District 8 is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
