Barangay Bagong Pook

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Bagong Pook is one of the administrative divisions of Pila in Laguna, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bagong Pook had a population of 5,208. This made it the 4th largest of 17 barangays in Pila by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bagong Pook accounted for approximately 9.54% of the total population of Pila, which stood at 54,613 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,632 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,208 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +43.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bagong Pook as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
