Barangay V (Pob.)

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay V (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Pio Duran in Albay, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay V (Pob.) had a population of 2,230. This made it the 5th largest of 33 barangays in Pio Duran by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay V (Pob.) accounted for approximately 4.54% of the total population of Pio Duran, which stood at 49,070 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay V (Pob.) changed from 2,362 to 2,230, a shift of -5.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Pio Duran. Barangay V (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pio Duran is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay V (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
