Barangay Basicao Interior

Barangay Basicao Interior is a small barangay in the municipality of Pio Duran, located in the province of Albay, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Basicao Interior had a population of 631. This made it the 27th largest of 33 barangays in Pio Duran by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Basicao Interior accounted for approximately 1.29% of the total population of Pio Duran, which stood at 49,070 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Basicao Interior changed from 599 to 631, a shift of +5.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Pio Duran.
