Barangay Anislagan

Situated in Placer, Surigao Del Norte, Barangay Anislagan is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within Caraga.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Anislagan had a population of 2,057. This made it the 5th largest of 20 barangays in Placer by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Anislagan accounted for approximately 6.95% of the total population of Placer, which stood at 29,616 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Anislagan changed from 1,882 to 2,057, a shift of +9.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Placer. Barangay Anislagan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
