Barangay Dinaig

Barangay Dinaig forms part of Poona Piagapo, a municipality in Lanao Del Norte, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dinaig had a population of 936. This made it the 23rd largest of 26 barangays in Poona Piagapo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dinaig accounted for approximately 3.21% of the total population of Poona Piagapo, which stood at 29,183 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dinaig moving from 875 residents to 936 residents, an intercensal change of +7.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dinaig as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
