Barangay Suben

Situated in President Quirino, Sultan Kudarat, Barangay Suben is one of 19 barangays that make up the municipality within SOCCSKSARGEN.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Suben had a population of 861. This made it the 19th largest of 19 barangays in President Quirino by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Suben accounted for approximately 2.04% of the total population of President Quirino, which stood at 42,244 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Suben changed from 814 to 861, a shift of +5.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in President Quirino. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Suben as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

President Quirino is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Suben, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Sultan Kudarat, which contains 249 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Suben ranks 248th by 2020 population.
