Barangay Naya

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Naya is one of the administrative divisions of Pura in Tarlac, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Naya had a population of 1,284. This made it the 8th largest of 16 barangays in Pura by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Naya accounted for approximately 4.98% of the total population of Pura, which stood at 25,781 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Naya moving from 1,062 residents to 1,284 residents, an intercensal change of +20.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Naya is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pura is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Naya, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
