Barangay Linao

Situated in San Isidro, Davao Del Norte, Barangay Linao is one of 13 barangays that make up the municipality within Davao Region.

This made it the 5th largest of 13 barangays in San Isidro by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Linao accounted for approximately 7.99% of the total population of San Isidro, which stood at 27,233 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Linao moving from 2,248 residents to 2,177 residents, an intercensal change of -3.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Linao is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
