Barangay Colabaoan

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Colabaoan is one of the administrative divisions of San Juan in Abra, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Colabaoan had a population of 273. This made it the 17th largest of 19 barangays in San Juan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Colabaoan accounted for approximately 2.55% of the total population of San Juan, which stood at 10,688 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Colabaoan moving from 308 residents to 273 residents, an intercensal change of -11.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Colabaoan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
