Barangay Daoidao

Situated in San Juan, Abra, Barangay Daoidao is one of 19 barangays that make up the municipality within CAR.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Daoidao had a population of 177. This made it the 18th largest of 19 barangays in San Juan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Daoidao accounted for approximately 1.66% of the total population of San Juan, which stood at 10,688 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Daoidao moving from 160 residents to 177 residents, an intercensal change of +10.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Daoidao as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Juan is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Daoidao, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
