Barangay Lam-ag

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Lam-ag is one of the administrative divisions of San Juan in Abra, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lam-ag had a population of 607. This made it the 8th largest of 19 barangays in San Juan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lam-ag accounted for approximately 5.68% of the total population of San Juan, which stood at 10,688 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lam-ag moving from 558 residents to 607 residents, an intercensal change of +8.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lam-ag as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
