Barangay Pantad

Situated in San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur, Barangay Pantad is one of 28 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pantad had a population of 1,478. This made it the 3rd largest of 28 barangays in San Pablo by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pantad accounted for approximately 5.55% of the total population of San Pablo, which stood at 26,648 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pantad changed from 1,412 to 1,478, a shift of +4.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Pablo. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pantad as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Pablo is a municipality comprising 28 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pantad, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
