Situated in San Vicente, Palawan, Barangay Port Barton is one of 10 barangays that make up the municipality within MIMAROPA Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Port Barton had a population of 6,621. This made it the 1st largest of 10 barangays in San Vicente by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Port Barton accounted for approximately 19.76% of the total population of San Vicente, which stood at 33,507 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Port Barton changed from 5,844 to 6,621, a shift of +13.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Vicente. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Port Barton as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
