Barangay Santo Niño

Situated in San Vicente, Palawan, Barangay Santo Niño is one of 10 barangays that make up the municipality within MIMAROPA Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santo Niño had a population of 1,557. This made it the 7th largest of 10 barangays in San Vicente by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Niño accounted for approximately 4.65% of the total population of San Vicente, which stood at 33,507 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santo Niño changed from 1,279 to 1,557, a shift of +21.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Vicente. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santo Niño as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Vicente is a municipality comprising 10 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santo Niño, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
