Barangay Mambuyo

Situated in Santa Barbara, Iloilo, Barangay Mambuyo is one of 60 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mambuyo had a population of 414. This made it the 54th largest of 60 barangays in Santa Barbara by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mambuyo accounted for approximately 0.61% of the total population of Santa Barbara, which stood at 67,630 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mambuyo moving from 390 residents to 414 residents, an intercensal change of +6.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Mambuyo as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
