Barangay Nagbinlod

Barangay Nagbinlod is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Santa Catalina, located in the province of Negros Oriental, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Nagbinlod had a population of 3,029. This made it the 10th largest of 22 barangays in Santa Catalina by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nagbinlod accounted for approximately 3.91% of the total population of Santa Catalina, which stood at 77,501 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Nagbinlod changed from 3,083 to 3,029, a shift of -1.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Santa Catalina. Barangay Nagbinlod is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santa Catalina is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nagbinlod, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
