Barangay Bag-ong Baroy

Barangay Bag-ong Baroy is a very small barangay in the municipality of Sominot, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Sur, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bag-ong Baroy had a population of 446. This made it the 16th largest of 18 barangays in Sominot by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bag-ong Baroy accounted for approximately 2.34% of the total population of Sominot, which stood at 19,061 in the same census year.
