Barangay Balasinon

Barangay Balasinon is a small barangay in the municipality of Sulop, located in the province of Davao Del Sur, in the Davao Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Balasinon had a population of 787. This made it the 16th largest of 25 barangays in Sulop by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Balasinon accounted for approximately 2.24% of the total population of Sulop, which stood at 35,151 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Balasinon moving from 711 residents to 787 residents, an intercensal change of +10.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
