Barangay Litos

Situated in Sulop, Davao Del Sur, Barangay Litos is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within Davao Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Litos had a population of 704. This made it the 21st largest of 25 barangays in Sulop by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Litos accounted for approximately 2.00% of the total population of Sulop, which stood at 35,151 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Litos changed from 714 to 704, a shift of -1.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Sulop. Barangay Litos is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sulop is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Litos, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
