Barangay Mckinley

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Mckinley is one of the administrative divisions of Sulop in Davao Del Sur, Davao Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mckinley had a population of 1,853. This made it the 5th largest of 25 barangays in Sulop by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mckinley accounted for approximately 5.27% of the total population of Sulop, which stood at 35,151 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Mckinley changed from 1,694 to 1,853, a shift of +9.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Sulop. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Mckinley as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sulop is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mckinley, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
