Barangay Solongvale

Barangay Solongvale forms part of Sulop, a municipality in Davao Del Sur, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Solongvale had a population of 1,139. This made it the 12th largest of 25 barangays in Sulop by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Solongvale accounted for approximately 3.24% of the total population of Sulop, which stood at 35,151 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,156 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,139 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -1.5%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. Barangay Solongvale is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
