Situated in Tagbina, Surigao Del Sur, Barangay Osmeña is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within Caraga.

This made it the 13th largest of 25 barangays in Tagbina by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Osmeña accounted for approximately 3.00% of the total population of Tagbina, which stood at 41,051 in the same census year.
