Barangay Santa Fe

Barangay Santa Fe is a small barangay in the municipality of Tagbina, located in the province of Surigao Del Sur, in the Caraga region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Fe had a population of 651. This made it the 23rd largest of 25 barangays in Tagbina by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Fe accounted for approximately 1.59% of the total population of Tagbina, which stood at 41,051 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santa Fe moving from 541 residents to 651 residents, an intercensal change of +20.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santa Fe as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
