Barangay Santa Juana

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Santa Juana is one of the administrative divisions of Tagbina in Surigao Del Sur, Caraga, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Juana had a population of 3,104. This made it the 2nd largest of 25 barangays in Tagbina by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Juana accounted for approximately 7.56% of the total population of Tagbina, which stood at 41,051 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santa Juana changed from 2,578 to 3,104, a shift of +20.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Tagbina. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santa Juana as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tagbina is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Juana, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Surigao Del Sur, which contains 309 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Santa Juana ranks 47th by 2020 population.
