Barangay Becques

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Becques is one of the administrative divisions of Tagudin in Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Becques had a population of 1,911. This made it the 5th largest of 43 barangays in Tagudin by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Becques accounted for approximately 4.60% of the total population of Tagudin, which stood at 41,538 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Becques moving from 1,905 residents to 1,911 residents, an intercensal change of +0.3%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. Barangay Becques is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
