Barangay 1 (Pob.)

Situated in Talakag, Bukidnon, Barangay 1 (Pob.) is one of 29 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

This made it the 29th largest of 29 barangays in Talakag by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 1 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.86% of the total population of Talakag, which stood at 77,027 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay 1 (Pob.) changed from 641 to 662, a shift of +3.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Talakag. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay 1 (Pob.) as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Talakag is a municipality comprising 29 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay 1 (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bukidnon, which contains 464 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay 1 (Pob.) ranks 444th by 2020 population.
