Barangay Dagumbaan

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Dagumbaan is one of the administrative divisions of Talakag in Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dagumbaan had a population of 2,506. This made it the 13th largest of 29 barangays in Talakag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dagumbaan accounted for approximately 3.25% of the total population of Talakag, which stood at 77,027 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dagumbaan moving from 2,435 residents to 2,506 residents, an intercensal change of +2.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dagumbaan as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Talakag is a municipality comprising 29 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dagumbaan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bukidnon, which contains 464 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Dagumbaan ranks 203rd by 2020 population.
